Delete Your Account & Data
InnerSpace: Sleep & Sound · InnerSpace Studio
This page explains how to delete your InnerSpace: Sleep & Sound account and the data
associated with your use of the app, and what is deleted or kept.
Delete your account (fastest — in the app)
You can delete your account and all associated data yourself, at any time, directly in the app:
- Open InnerSpace → Settings.
- Scroll to Account & Privacy and tap Delete Account (or Reset All Data).
- Confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes your data from your device and, if you enabled "Save Across Devices", from our servers.
Or request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email
hello@inner-space-studio.org
with the subject line "Account Deletion Request", from the email or account you used.
We will action your request and confirm by email within 30 days.
By default, most InnerSpace data never leaves your device — your journal, moods, stats, streaks, Growth
Seeds, favourites and imported tracks are stored only on your phone. If you turned on the optional
"Save Across Devices" feature, a copy is also backed up to our secure servers under your
account; the steps above delete both copies.
What gets deleted
- Your account — the account created via Sign in with Apple or Google (if you linked one), including the anonymous cloud identity, is deleted.
- Your synced data — if Cloud Sync was enabled: your Growth Seeds garden and completed trees, streak & session statistics, mood history, journal and dream entries, weekly Mirror reflections, and app activity history are permanently deleted from our servers.
- On-device data — journal, moods, stats, streaks, garden, favourites and imported tracks stored on your device are removed by Delete Account / Reset All Data, or by uninstalling the app.
- Email & support messages — any email, newsletter sign-up, or feedback you submitted is deleted from our records.
- AI feature text — prompts sent to the AI Journey Creator, "Untangle a Thought", and Dream Reflection are processed in real time and are not permanently stored, so there is nothing retained to delete.
What may be kept
- Purchase / subscription records — transaction records held by Google Play and our subscription processor (RevenueCat) may be retained where required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance. These contain no payment card details.
- Records we are legally required to keep — limited records may be retained to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes, then deleted once no longer needed.
Cancelling a subscription
Deleting your data does not cancel an active subscription. Manage or cancel your subscription in your
Google Play (or App Store) account settings before requesting deletion.
